Tea leaf reading never goes out of style
I found this vintage tea cup and saucer set (Royal Kendal) in a wonderful antiques store called Alchemy & Ashes. I’ve wanted one of these forever. Tea leaf reading, also known as tasseography, is an ancient practice whereby one obtains psychic insight into past/present/future by “reading” patterns in tea leaves.
It can also be used as a way to scry – similar to gazing into a crystal ball. It’s a way to open your subconscious mind and gather information intuitively. It’s something I’ve been practicing as let’s face it, an intuitive with a love of tea should certainly attempt tea leaf reading!
And no, you don’t need this special teacup to do it. I just think it’s soooo pretty!
I’ll let you know how it goes!
